Account Executive, Funded Startups
Own the full sales cycle for venture-backed startups, building relationships with founders and operators and helping them adopt Stripe’s financial infrastructure. The role requires 5+ years of closing sales experience, Hebrew and English fluency, technical credibility, and a strong Israeli startup network.

Responsibilities
- Identify and qualify high-potential venture-backed startups through inbound leads and outbound prospecting.
- Own the full sales cycle from initial engagement through close.
- Build and execute territory and account plans to drive new business, product adoption, and sustained user value.
- Understand users’ business models, technical environments, and pain points; recommend suitable Stripe solutions.
- Create pipeline through research, networking, targeted outreach, cold calling, and territory campaigns.
- Represent Stripe in the startup ecosystem through founder, investor, and community engagement.
- Develop and work with local and international partners.
- Partner with Investment Partnerships on venture-capital portfolio analysis and founder-focused events.
- Collaborate with go-to-market teams and headquarters on shared initiatives and regional events.
- Coordinate with Solutions Architects, SDRs, Marketing, Product, Risk, Operations, and other teams.
- Bring user feedback and complex needs to internal teams to improve products and go-to-market approaches.
- Deliver a thoughtful, high-quality experience in every interaction.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in a closing sales role or comparable product-focused commercial role.
- Professional fluency in Hebrew and English.
- Experience working with venture-backed startups in Israel and an established network across founders, investors, accelerators, and the broader startup ecosystem.
- Consistent achievement or overachievement of ambitious sales targets.
- Experience managing a full sales cycle in a complex or technical environment.
- Ability to understand technical ecosystems and build credibility with technical and business stakeholders.
- Strong analytical judgment and ability to manage multiple priorities across complex sales cycles.
- Experience building territory plans and identifying high-impact activities and opportunities.
- Experience leading cross-functional projects.
- Strong relationship-building skills.
- Ability and motivation to succeed in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment.
