Senior Applied Value Engineer - DACH - Logistics

This customer-facing role designs AI- and process-intelligence solutions, builds business cases and proof-of-value projects, and guides strategic customers through adoption, value realization, and expansion. It requires 7+ years in analytics, process improvement, software deployment, or consulting, plus strong executive communication skills.

Responsibilities

AI Discovery & Solutioning

Understand customers’ AI strategy and business-critical challenges.
Identify the best problem-solution fit and translate customer requirements into innovative solutions.

Identify & Frame Value

Translate customers’ strategic priorities into high-impact Celonis use cases.
Build demos and business cases using industry benchmarks and best practices.
Undertake value assessments or proof-of-value projects.
Communicate value opportunities and strategic roadmaps to C-level executives.

Realize Value

Facilitate business value workshops and use Celonis to identify and qualify opportunities for process enhancement.
Derive improvement measures in core business functions and initiate improvement actions and enterprise-wide change initiatives.
Present results and realized value to senior management and C-level executives.

Scale Value

Own the end-to-end customer value journey, including landing, expanding, adoption, and renewal.
Build strategic expansion roadmaps that embed Celonis Process Intelligence as a business transformation platform.
Drive platform adoption and expansion.
Provide feedback to product development teams to enhance the Celonis platform and apps based on new use cases.

Requirements

7+ years of experience in an analytical role focused on demonstrating or securing value through business data analysis, business process improvement, and software deployment.
Experience in a customer-facing role such as solution consulting, sales engineering, or IT/management consulting with a business software or SaaS provider; equivalent in-house analytics or intelligence experience is also considered.
Good knowledge of business software and SaaS applications, such as SAP or Oracle.
Experience implementing RPA or BI tools, or building dashboards, apps, and action flows.
Experience collaborating with IT teams.
Experience identifying business use cases for process improvement and deploying improvement measures.
Experience acting as a change agent and training users or process owners to realize value.
Experience planning and managing project scopes, expectations, and timelines.
Experience managing multiple projects across customer accounts.
Experience preparing and communicating value roadmaps and results to internal and external stakeholders.
Excellent English communication and presentation skills.

Nice to Have

Hands-on experience with process mining tools and technologies.
Hands-on SQL experience.
Python experience.
Domain or industry knowledge in supply chain, finance, consumer packaged goods, banking and financial services, or manufacturing.
Experience leveraging implementation or consulting partners.
