Responsibilities
- Lead and grow a team of engineers, including hiring, mentoring, career development, and coaching.
- Set direction for the Finance and ERP integration practice and own team roadmaps, systems, and processes.
- Build and operate complex ERP integrations, backend services, microservices, APIs, and MCP integrations.
- Own the architecture, delivery, reliability, security, monitoring, testing, code reviews, and incident response for Finance integrations.
- Migrate integrations from Oracle Cloud to an in-house platform and extend the platform for self-service use.
- Partner with Finance, Procurement, and cross-functional teams to translate requirements into integrations, automations, and reporting.
- Own month-end financial integrations and reporting, proactively identifying and resolving gaps.
- Evaluate GenAI models and techniques and share learnings.
Requirements
- 10+ years of software engineering experience building and operating production systems and integrations.
- Experience leading engineers as a manager or technical lead.
- Strong ERP product knowledge, including Oracle Cloud ERP or comparable systems and Finance modules such as R2R, P2P, AP, and AR.
- Strong proficiency in Java or Python, including building microservices, APIs, and integrations from the ground up.
- Experience using AI in development to ship products from prototype to production, including LLMs, prompt engineering, and RAG.
- Strong relational database and SQL proficiency.
- Ability to collaborate cross-functionally and influence without authority.
- Excellent communication skills.
Nice-to-haves
- Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) and OCI/PaaS experience.
- Oracle reporting experience.
- Experience building AI agents and MCPs, preferably using Claude.
