Responsibilities
- Build and operate data and AI infrastructure products at scale.
- Develop systems for log ingestion, indexing, processing, and user experiences for petabyte-scale data.
- Build AI/BI products, including dashboards, visualizations, and talk-to-your-data capabilities.
- Develop governed business semantics and data modeling capabilities for enterprise data and AI.
- Build Databricks Apps runtime, proxy, platform components, and AI-agent capabilities.
- Work toward a multi-year vision through incremental deliverables.
- Deliver customer value and measurable product impact.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 5+ years of production-level experience with Java, Scala, or C++.
- Strong foundation in algorithms and data structures and their real-world applications.
- Experience developing large-scale distributed systems.
- Experience with SaaS platforms or service-oriented architectures.
- Experience with cloud technologies such as AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, Docker, or Kubernetes.
- Experience with security and systems handling sensitive data.
- Good knowledge of SQL.
Compensation
- Canada pay range: $146,200–$201,100 CAD.
- Total compensation may also include an annual performance bonus, equity, and regional benefits.
