About the role
Key Responsibilities
Own the full commercial lifecycle across complex, consultative deals, from discovery and solution design through negotiation and close. This role focuses primarily on advancing strategic opportunities, including enterprise accounts.
Drive pipeline creation and revenue execution by leveraging your network and acting as a trusted advisor to founders, investors, and partners in the fintech and vertical SaaS ecosystem.
Represent Unit in the market through ecosystem engagement, founder conversations, partner sessions, and key industry events.
Partner cross-functionally with Marketing and Product to develop demand generation strategies and translate market insights into product direction.
Design and iterate on the sales process and GTM playbook, shaping messaging, qualification criteria, and pipeline development.
What We're Looking For
6+ years of experience in a customer-facing or ecosystem-facing role. Relevant backgrounds may include startup ex-founders, venture capital, strategy & management consulting, partnerships, or B2B sales/GTM operator.
Experience in management or strategy consulting is also highly valued. Backgrounds from firms such as BCG, McKinsey, Bain, or similar consulting practices with fintech exposure are a plus.
Strong relationships across the Bay Area startup and VC ecosystem, with the ability to generate opportunities through network-driven introductions.
Commercial instincts and a clear interest in owning revenue outcomes and closing complex, consultative deals.
Exceptional communication and storytelling skills, with the ability to simplify complex technical concepts.
Deep curiosity about fintech and excitement about how infrastructure businesses can reshape industries.
Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to operate independently, build new sales motions from scratch, and represent Unit externally at the highest level.
