Responsibilities
- Build and operate autonomous agents for inbound, outbound, pipeline management, and customer engagement.
- Design human oversight, including approval gates, handoffs, and escalation paths.
- Develop and run agent behavior evaluations in development and production.
- Instrument model and tool calls and build observability linking agent actions to pipeline and revenue.
- Ship MCP servers, agent skills, and web applications integrating with CRM, communications, and data warehouse systems.
- Set technical direction for building, evaluating, and operating agents.
- Architect shared codebases, conventions, and review practices for GTM contributors.
- Work directly with sellers to ground agent designs in real workflows and iterate based on observations.
- Identify repeatable patterns and share insights with Product and Engineering teams.
Requirements
- Strong Python or TypeScript programming skills and experience building and operating production applications.
- Production experience with LLMs, including context engineering, agent development, MCP development, tool use, and evaluation frameworks.
- Experience using evaluations and transcript analysis to identify and fix problems in LLM systems.
- Working fluency with data and SQL.
- Ability to navigate ambiguity and ship without a detailed specification.
- Passion for safe, beneficial AI and consideration for users.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience in a relevant field.
- 8+ years of experience as a software engineer, ML engineer, forward deployed engineer, or similar role.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience with Claude Code and the Claude Agent SDK.
- Experience with go-to-market systems such as CRM, sales engagement, enrichment, and conversation intelligence platforms.
- Experience working closely with revenue teams.
- Experience scaling codebases with many contributors, including inner-source or open-source projects.
- Applied machine learning and experimentation experience, including A/B testing, propensity models, recommendations, or causal analysis.
- Exceptional communication skills with non-technical partners.
Compensation
- Annual compensation range: $320,000–$405,000 USD.
