Responsibilities
- Partner with the GM to set the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for Rippling Finance.
- Lead and coach a team of senior product managers across a broad, multi-product suite.
- Identify high-leverage product, platform, and go-to-market opportunities to drive the business to its next stage of growth.
- Build products supporting both sales-led and self-serve/product-led growth motions for smaller, mid-market, and enterprise customers.
- Partner with Engineering, Design, Biz Ops, Risk, Finance, Sales, Marketing, and Support to deliver technically excellent, commercially successful, and usable products.
- Extend AI across Finance product experiences, including spend controls, accounting workflows, FP&A analysis, and automations.
- Develop an understanding of customer needs, competitive dynamics, market structure, and product gaps across modern finance software.
- Balance long-term suite strategy with operational depth across product details, data models, workflows, and customer pain points.
- Define how Rippling’s platform advantage can transform finance operations.
Requirements
- 10+ years of product management experience, including significant B2B software experience.
- Current or recent Senior Director, VP, or equivalent product leadership scope; this is not intended as a first-time senior leadership step.
- Experience managing product managers, preferably teams larger than five PMs.
- Track record owning strategy and execution for complex, high-impact product areas.
- Strong systems thinking across product, business model, customer workflow, data, risk, and operational complexity.
- Experience building products where accuracy, reporting, data quality, and workflow depth matter.
- 1–3 years of experience creating AI-native products, preferably AI agents rather than copilots.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in highly cross-functional environments.
- Bias toward action, high ownership, and comfort in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong product judgment, including strategy, edge cases, UX polish, data definitions, and launch tradeoffs.
- Experience using AI in personal workflows to improve output speed and quality.
Nice to Haves
- Experience in fintech, spend management, payments, banking, procurement, accounting, FP&A, or related finance workflows.
- Experience building products used in daily operational workflows.
- Experience scaling products through hybrid sales-led and self-serve/product-led growth motions.
- Founder, GM, or business-owner experience with accountability for product strategy and commercial outcomes.
- Experience in a highly technical B2B domain such as fintech, developer tools, ad tech, HR tech, or legal tech.
- Familiarity with international product expansion, regulatory compliance, risk operations, and financial controls.
Compensation and Benefits

- ATS-listed US salary range: $222,000–$370,000.
- This role is ideally based in New York City and requires three days per week in the office.
