Sr./Staff Product Designer, Growth
Product Designer owning Runway's revenue-critical surfaces including pricing, upgrades, paywalls and checkout. Partner with growth, engineering and data teams to design, test and iterate experiments that drive ARR, expansion and reduce churn.
About the job
Responsibilities
- Own growth-critical surfaces (pricing pages, paywalls, upgrade prompts, and checkout flows) from concept through shipped, tested experiments.
- Turn business goals like ARR growth, expansion revenue, and reduced churn into design hypotheses and interface changes you can test.
- Design and read A/B tests and other experiments with growth engineering and data, iterating fast on what moves the numbers.
- Collaborate closely with growth engineering and product to ship experiments quickly and turn winners into permanent product surfaces.
- Contribute to visual and interaction consistency between growth surfaces and the rest of the product.
- Set the design direction for Runway's growth surfaces and mentor other designers working in the funnel.
Requirements
- Experience designing product surfaces tied directly to revenue and can point to what moved ARR, conversion, or expansion revenue in a past role.
- Comfort running and reading quantitative experiments, not just shipping a single "best" design.
- Experience designing flows, prototypes and high-fidelity UI's for web products, with strong visual design skills.
- Experience delivering and iterating fast in close collaboration with engineering, and product teams.
- Ability and flexibility to iterate fast and often.
- Comfortable picking up unfamiliar parts of the product rather than waiting to be assigned only what you already know.
- Knowledge and understanding of the creative tool space.
Nice-to-Haves
- Experience creating functional prototypes using AI tools (Claude Code, Cursor, etc.).
- Artistic and creative potential (particularly skills with video/audio editing, icon/typography design, illustration, etc.).
