Staff Software Engineer - Fullstack
Build customer-facing, self-serve workflows and modular UI experiences for the Databricks Control Plane. The role leads large-scale distributed product initiatives, partners cross-functionally, and mentors engineers while requiring 10+ years of industry experience.

Responsibilities
- Build simple workflows covering multiple user journeys in the Databricks Control Plane.
- Build self-serve, modular UI flows that help product teams create standard customer user journeys.
- Collaborate with global, cross-functional teams, including product management and backend engineers, to deliver high-quality software.
- Plan and execute complex projects involving multiple teams and stakeholders.
- Create, deploy, test, and upgrade complex data pipelines with features for visualizing data graphs.
- Provide a SQL-centric data exploration and dashboarding experience on Databricks.
- Work in an interactive environment for collaborative data projects at massive scale with an easy path to production.
- Mentor and groom junior full-stack engineers.
Requirements
- 10+ years of industry experience.
- Experience leading large, multi-quarter efforts with demonstrated customer or business impact.
- Experience developing large-scale distributed systems from scratch.
- Comfort working toward a multi-year vision with incremental deliverables.
- Motivation to deliver customer value.
- Familiarity with server-side web technologies is a plus.
- Knowledge of and passion for current trends and best practices in front-end architecture, including performance, accessibility, security, and usability.
- Experience building large-scale products.
- Experience working on a SaaS platform or with service-oriented architectures.
