Leads Twilio’s corporate PR strategy across employer brand, executive, partner, customer, social impact, and financial communications. Responsibilities
- Lead employer brand PR by developing proactive external stories about Twilio’s people, values, and culture.
- Develop and execute external communications for the Chief Administrative Officer, including media opportunities, thought leadership, speaking engagements, and LinkedIn presence.
- Identify and pitch media opportunities showcasing Twilio customers and partners.
- Develop thought leadership and secure coverage for Twilio.org and its social impact organizations.
- Support quarterly earnings, acquisition, and industry investment announcements with Investor Relations.
- Lead PR programs, media relations, proactive press outreach, and collaboration with internal stakeholders and external agencies.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in corporate communications, executive communications, or public relations, ideally in a high-growth or enterprise technology environment.
- Exceptional media relations and a demonstrated ability to place stories in top-tier business and technology outlets.
- Experience advising C-suite leaders in high-stakes, fast-moving environments.
- Strong writing, editing, storytelling, and executive judgment skills.
- Strong business acumen and financial communications experience, ideally with a publicly traded company.
- Strategic thinking, strong organization, calm under pressure, and the ability to manage competing priorities.
- Strong cross-functional collaboration skills.
Nice to Have
- Interest in applying artificial intelligence to public relations and communications workflows.
- Familiarity with cloud communications, API technologies, data platforms, and customer engagement.
- Experience managing executive social media, including LinkedIn.
- Experience in both agency and in-house communications environments.
Compensation
- Estimated annual pay ranges vary by location:
- Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts, Minnesota, Vermont, or Washington, D.C.: $141,520–$176,900
- New York, New Jersey, Washington State, or California outside the San Francisco Bay Area: $149,840–$187,300
- San Francisco Bay Area, California: $166,400–$208,000
- May be eligible for equity and a corporate bonus plan.
