Responsibilities
- Own the payments experience and orchestration platform, including payment methods, funding and payout options, flows of funds, routing, countries and payment rails, payment speed, and payments economics.
- Build a consistent payment-method experience covering bank-account setup, validation, verification, eligibility, funding methods, readiness, history, and controls.
- Evolve routing architecture to support flexible money flows, multiple routes and FX providers, real-time payments, changing settlement timelines, and new use cases.
- Define and launch flows of funds for new countries, licensed entities, financial products, and banking partners.
- Enable accelerated and instant payment experiences.
- Build machine-readable payment methods, routing options, lifecycle state, and available actions to support agentic payments.
- Enable AI to answer payment questions, identify and explain issues, recommend resolutions, and safely take action within defined controls.
- Use AI to anticipate funding and payout issues, optimize routes across speed, cost, and reliability, and automate operational decisions.
- Own the payments P&L, including FX, transaction fees, routing costs, and float income.
- Partner with Engineering and Design on data models, lifecycle state, routing logic, APIs, and customer workflows.
- Collaborate with Treasury, Finance, Legal, Compliance, Risk, Operations, Support, and product leaders.
Requirements
- 5+ years of product management, product lead, or founding experience.
- Demonstrated success owning technically complex platform products or shared infrastructure.
- Strong systems thinking across data models, states, rules, permissions, exceptions, integrations, and operational processes.
- Excellent product judgment and ability to connect infrastructure work to intuitive customer experiences.
- Technical fluency, including comfort reading technical specifications and understanding APIs and system architecture.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience translating ambiguous, cross-functional problems into product strategy, requirements, and shipped outcomes.

- Experience with payments, fintech, treasury, banking infrastructure, risk, or other regulated financial systems.
