Build and scale backend platform services for Yubico’s enterprise credential-management solution. The role requires 6+ years of software development experience, commercial software experience, backend development, and relational database expertise.

Responsibilities
- Understand, enhance, maintain, and grow the platform that powers Yubico’s services.
- Design and develop testable, scalable, globally distributed services for Enterprise customers.
- Collaborate across functions with Product Managers, Security, Infrastructure, UX, and Support.
- Work with cloud platform services, REST design, data compliance, and web security.
- Collaborate with a multinational development team to create well-architected software.
- Participate in an on-call rotation supporting business-critical Enterprise services.
Requirements
- 6+ years of software development experience or equivalent.
- Experience building commercial software.
- Back-end software development experience.
- Experience with relational databases.
- Experience with one or more web-backend languages, including Java, Kotlin, Go, Python, JavaScript (Node.js), C#, or Rust.
Nice-to-haves
- Hands-on experience with Go and/or Java/Kotlin.
- Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, or Redis.
- Experience with one of the three major cloud platforms.
- Knowledge of authentication and authorization technologies and modern security practices.
