Responsibilities
- Design and implement robust Rust services and libraries powering trading, payments, and crypto experiences.
- Write reusable, testable, efficient code for scalable, revenue-critical systems while maintaining safety and security.
- Collaborate on distributed-systems architecture and translate product requirements into resilient, low-latency solutions.
- Debug issues across the operating system, network, and application stack.
- Collaborate with product teams to gather requirements and design appropriate systems.
- Own systems and libraries end to end.
- Mentor engineers and help define technical culture.
Requirements
- 7+ years of software engineering experience.
- Experience building financial trading-focused products.
- Proficiency writing network services or asynchronous code in Rust.
- Security-first approach to system design.
- Solid understanding of distributed systems, including RPC protocols, Kafka, and event-driven systems.
- Ability to work autonomously and collaborate effectively with product teams.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience contributing to large-scale, low-latency trading systems.
- Experience designing reusable libraries used across engineering teams.
