Responsibilities
- Lead technical implementations and drive adoption of Chainguard Images for Public Sector customers.
- Partner with account executives, sales engineers, customer success managers, and Support to understand customer goals and pain points, develop account strategies, and drive value realization, retention, and growth.
- Act as “customer zero” by testing and documenting Chainguard Images and ensuring a smooth onboarding experience.
- Partner with Product and Engineering to communicate customer requirements and determine image-build prioritization.
- Maintain account-level architecture and share best practices and lessons learned across the organization.
- Collaborate with, teach, and learn from the broader team.
Requirements
- 4+ years of experience in a post-sales role supporting Public Sector clients.
- 8+ years of experience developing high-performance, multi-tier applications.
- Strong experience with Kubernetes, containers, and modern software security practices.
- Experience with compliance frameworks such as FedRAMP, NIST 800-53, or CMMC.
- Ability to communicate technical concepts to audiences ranging from engineers to executives.
- Strong experience with software development processes, practices, and software engineering design concepts.
- Ability to work effectively with cross-functional engineering teams and business partners.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related focus.
- Willingness to travel up to 15% for customer engagements.
- U.S. citizenship required.
Compensation
- Up to $195,000 base salary, plus bonus and equity.
