Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain scalable web applications using React, TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
- Translate product and UX requirements into clean, reusable, and maintainable frontend architecture and components.
- Build reusable UI components and shared libraries focused on consistency, accessibility, and performance.
- Integrate frontend applications with REST and GraphQL APIs, collaborating with backend engineers on robustness, security, and data consistency.
- Contribute to Node.js-based backend integrations and APIs for frontend-facing use cases.
- Optimize application performance through lazy loading, code splitting, caching, rendering improvements, and production debugging.
- Write production-ready code with unit and integration tests; participate in code reviews and uphold engineering standards.
- Investigate and resolve production issues to ensure high availability and a smooth user experience.
- Work with CI/CD pipelines, containerized environments, and cloud-based deployments in collaboration with platform and backend teams.
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to frontend standards, best practices, and technical design discussions.
Requirements
- 7+ years of software engineering experience, including strong hands-on experience building frontend applications with React and TypeScript.
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, CSS, and modern frontend development practices.
- Understanding of frontend architecture, state management, component design, performance optimization, and responsive UI development.
- Production experience integrating RESTful APIs and/or GraphQL APIs.
- Working knowledge of Node.js and lightweight backend/API development.
- Strong understanding of frontend unit and integration testing.
- Experience debugging production issues and improving performance, reliability, and maintainability.
- Familiarity with containerization and cloud environments such as Docker, Kubernetes, AWS, or Google Cloud.
- Understanding of secure coding practices, authentication and authorization flows, and web security principles.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to work independently.
- Experience mentoring junior engineers and contributing to planning, design, and execution.

- Next.js or other modern React frameworks.
- Node.js/TypeScript backend frameworks such as NestJS or Express.
- Design systems, shared component libraries, and accessibility standards.
- Observability tools such as Datadog, OpenTelemetry, or Grafana.
- CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or GitLab.
- Feature flags, API gateways, rate limiting, and frontend performance monitoring.
- Experience with large-scale SaaS products or data-heavy applications.
