Senior Software Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain scalable web applications using React, TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
• Translate product and UX requirements into clean, reusable, and maintainable frontend architecture and components.
• Build reusable UI components and shared libraries focused on consistency, accessibility, and performance.
• Integrate frontend applications with REST and GraphQL APIs, collaborating with backend engineers on robustness, security, and data consistency.
• Contribute to Node.js-based backend integrations and APIs for frontend-facing use cases.
• Optimize application performance through lazy loading, code splitting, caching, rendering improvements, and production debugging.
• Write production-ready code with unit and integration tests; participate in code reviews and uphold engineering standards.
• Investigate and resolve production issues to ensure high availability and a smooth user experience.
• Work with CI/CD pipelines, containerized environments, and cloud-based deployments in collaboration with platform and backend teams.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to frontend standards, best practices, and technical design discussions.

Requirements

• 7+ years of software engineering experience, including strong hands-on experience building frontend applications with React and TypeScript.
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, CSS, and modern frontend development practices.
• Understanding of frontend architecture, state management, component design, performance optimization, and responsive UI development.
• Production experience integrating RESTful APIs and/or GraphQL APIs.
• Working knowledge of Node.js and lightweight backend/API development.
• Strong understanding of frontend unit and integration testing.
• Experience debugging production issues and improving performance, reliability, and maintainability.
• Familiarity with containerization and cloud environments such as Docker, Kubernetes, AWS, or Google Cloud.
• Understanding of secure coding practices, authentication and authorization flows, and web security principles.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to work independently.
• Experience mentoring junior engineers and contributing to planning, design, and execution.

• Next.js or other modern React frameworks.
• Node.js/TypeScript backend frameworks such as NestJS or Express.
• Design systems, shared component libraries, and accessibility standards.
• Observability tools such as Datadog, OpenTelemetry, or Grafana.
• CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or GitLab.
• Feature flags, API gateways, rate limiting, and frontend performance monitoring.
• Experience with large-scale SaaS products or data-heavy applications.
