Responsibilities
- Own and execute Stripe’s annual planning process, including offshoot workstreams and leadership decision-making frameworks.
- Continuously improve planning and operating processes, automate manual workflows, and redesign work for greater efficiency.
- Build, automate, and scale central operations infrastructure, replacing manual, repetitive, or fragmented processes with scalable systems.
- Develop structured data pipelines, AI-augmented workflows, and operational tooling.
- Translate strategy into operational execution by shaping leadership discussions and operating forums.
- Prepare and run leadership-level operating forums and own follow-through.
- Identify breakdowns in operational systems, including slow decisions, unclear handoffs, and diffuse accountability, and address root causes across teams.
Requirements
- 15+ years of work experience, including significant operational experience at high-growth technology companies.
- Experience in product operations, strategy and operations, business operations, or company/corporate planning.
- Proven track record of building and owning operational systems that measurably improve company or team operations.
- Deep experience with company or functional planning, annual planning, OKR/SOKR-style goal setting, resource allocation, and operating cadence design.
- Systems-thinking and automation-first mindset.
- Strong analytical rigor, including direct ownership of data and metrics and independent analysis.
- Experience presenting to and working directly with C-suite and senior executive stakeholders.
- Ability to scope and solve ambiguous operational problems with minimal oversight.
- Technical proficiency with AI tools for workflow automation.
- Experience applying automation and scalable approaches to operational workflows, analysis, synthesis, systems, and decision support.
- Prior experience at a technology company.
Nice-to-haves
- Fintech, management consulting, or investment banking experience.
- Experience with the product and infrastructure ecosystem at Stripe or similar complex platform businesses.
- Familiarity with modern planning tools, workflow automation platforms, and operational data infrastructure.
