Lead Value Engineer - Insurance

Responsibilities

• Architect and drive large-scale AI- and data-driven business transformation in the insurance and wider financial services sector using the Celonis Context Model.
• Partner with Value Engineers and Deployment Engineers to combine technical execution, consulting, and project management.
• Support complex roadmaps and execute transformation initiatives across operations and claims management.
• Map how the Celonis platform supports customer enterprise AI strategies and take end-to-end accountability for ROI targets.
• Craft board-level executive narratives and lead complex, multi-workstream value workshops.
• Orchestrate C-level stakeholders, cultivate executive sponsorship, and co-own enterprise-wide change management.
• Build advanced Center of Excellence operating models for customer self-sufficiency.
• Steer and govern cross-regional transformation programs and coordinate portfolios of workstreams.
• Build frameworks that enable customers to quantify processes at global scale.
• Use AI copilots to accelerate technical outputs and orchestrate Applied Value Engineers for complex architectural builds.
• Define strategic expansion roadmaps and position Celonis as the enterprise intelligence layer.
• Identify next-generation industry use cases and guide product development.

Requirements

• 7+ years of highly relevant experience, including ownership of multiple strategic workstreams and substantial industry expertise.
• Deep experience in enterprise IT and SaaS.
• Advanced, AI-fluent approach to scaling outputs and guiding technical teams through complex solution design.
• Builder mentality and ability to set strategic direction for account teams in ambiguous environments.
• Expertise in value realization, process improvement, business-critical proof points, and advanced use cases.
• Expertise managing complex enterprise programs and mobilizing C-suite sponsorship.
• Exceptional executive presence and fluent English and German.
• Expert knowledge of insurance and broader financial services market dynamics.
• Degree in engineering, computer science, mathematics, business analytics, or a comparable technical field; alternatively, a business or economics degree with a technical minor.
