Channel Partner Manager, Cross-Functional

Responsibilities

  • Own activation and commercial performance of Ramp’s existing UK football-club partnerships.
  • Build club-specific commercial plans covering target accounts, events, campaigns, warm-introduction routes, and success measures.
  • Partner with club commercial teams to engage local businesses, corporate partners, suppliers, business-club members, owners, and finance leaders.
  • Plan and deliver matchday hospitality, executive dinners, business-networking events, and other activations that generate high-quality meetings and introductions.
  • Lead club outreach and campaigns, ensuring audiences are relevant, appropriately permissioned, and measurable.
  • Coordinate introductions and follow-up with Sales to convert club activity into sales opportunities.
  • Track performance through qualified leads, accepted meetings, applications, and activated customers.
  • Run partner operating reviews and quarterly business reviews; improve activation plans based on results and hold teams accountable.
  • Coordinate Marketing, Growth, Sales, Events, Product, and Engineering teams supporting activations and customer onboarding.
  • Represent Ramp credibly by developing a strong understanding of its products, customer value, and workflows.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of professional experience, including 3+ years in partnerships, business development, partner sales, account management, or commercial strategy.
  • Demonstrated success building trusted senior relationships and delivering measurable commercial results through partners.
  • Strong event, hospitality, campaign, and go-to-market execution skills.
  • Excellent judgment in identifying prospects, shaping warm introductions, and coordinating stakeholders.
  • Ability to use performance data to improve plans, report results, and manage toward goals.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and listening skills.
  • Highly collaborative working style and ability to work effectively across teams.
  • Ability to manage cross-functional stakeholders and keep complex activity moving.
  • UK-based, with flexibility to travel more than 60% of the time and support evening and weekend matchday and event commitments.

Nice to Have

  • Experience working with UK football clubs, sports properties, business communities, sponsorships, or commercial partnerships.
  • Experience creating B2B pipeline through events, hospitality, account-based campaigns, or partner networks.
  • Familiarity with the UK small and medium-sized business market and finance-leader audiences.
  • Understanding of sports business, media, branding, or investing.
