Sales Development Representative

The Sales Development Representative will identify and qualify prospects, execute outbound campaigns, and partner with Account Executives to create sales opportunities. The role requires German and English fluency, strong communication skills, technology interest, and the ability to thrive in a high-growth environment.

Responsibilities

  • Identify high-potential businesses, verticals, and markets, and execute outbound strategies to bring them to Stripe.
  • Qualify marketing-generated leads as sales opportunities and move qualified leads through the funnel by connecting them with salespeople and arranging meetings.
  • Develop and lead campaigns from ideation through qualified calls, determining how best to scale them.
  • Develop and codify sales best practices and workflows for scaled and bespoke prospect interactions.
  • Initiate contact with potential customers through cold calling or by responding to marketing-generated inquiries.
  • Partner with Account Executives to build account strategies and prospect into designated accounts.
  • Develop prospect relationships, uncover needs through effective questioning, qualify interest and viability, and prepare handoffs to sales.
  • Follow up with interested prospects who did not initially become sales opportunities.
  • Work through lead lists while meeting or exceeding SLAs; consistently update activity and contact information in the CRM and support weekly reporting.
  • Collaborate with Marketing by providing feedback and insights to improve targeting and messaging.
  • Support customers with activation and deployment of contracted Stripe services.

Requirements

  • Fluency in German and English.
  • Track record of top performance or prior success.
  • Superior verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong interest in technology.
  • Self-starter able to operate in a hyper-growth environment.
