Responsibilities

  • Become a ClickHouse subject matter expert and practitioner.
  • Create product and marketing collateral, including blog posts, benchmarks, guides, demos, webpages, documentation, and conference or meetup presentations.
  • Help define and execute the content strategy and roadmap.
  • Evaluate content strategy using metrics and stakeholder feedback; identify improvements and make data-driven recommendations.
  • Translate technical features and nuance into clear value propositions addressing customer needs and pain points.
  • Conduct market research, competitive analysis, and benchmarking to identify positioning opportunities.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with product management, marketing, and engineering teams.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of engineering or product marketing engineering experience.
  • Strong technical background and ability to understand complex engineering concepts and communicate them effectively.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to create compelling technical content.
  • Proven project management skills and ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Effective collaboration across functions and organizational levels.
  • Passion for technology and innovation, with an interest in current industry trends.
  • Deep understanding of databases, particularly OLAP.
  • Fluency in SQL.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field.
