Responsibilities
- Review and challenge Inherent Risk Questionnaires, validate vendor relationship information, and determine inherent risk and criticality ratings.
- Coordinate due diligence with Information Security, Privacy, Compliance, Enterprise Risk Management, Legal, and other risk partners.
- Conduct business due diligence, including reviews of corporate registration, reputational information, insurance coverage, and related documentation.
- Manage third-party assessments through completion, tracking requirements, resolving questions, and escalating concerns.
- Facilitate vendor approval processes with bank partners and track approvals.
- Document assessment issues and coordinate risk remediation through resolution.
- Support ongoing monitoring and periodic reassessments of third-party relationships.
- Document assessments, risk decisions, and supporting rationale.
- Advise business owners and stakeholders on TPRM requirements and processes.
- Contribute to TPRM program improvements, tooling enhancements, reporting, policies, procedures, standards, and documentation.
- Support internal audits, regulatory examinations, and bank partner oversight.
Requirements
- 4+ years of experience in Third Party Risk Management, Vendor Risk Management, Operational Risk, Compliance, Audit, or a related risk management function.
- Experience with third-party risk assessments, due diligence, and related risk management activities.
- Strong analytical, critical-thinking, stakeholder management, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple assessments, approvals, stakeholders, and competing priorities.
- Experience contributing to risk program initiatives such as process improvement, policy development, tooling enhancements, reporting, or audit support.
- Familiarity with regulatory expectations and industry practices for third-party risk management, including applicable interagency guidance.
Nice to Have
- Experience in financial services, fintech, banking, or another regulated environment.
- Familiarity with third-party risk management platforms, workflow tools, and reporting solutions.
Compensation and Benefits
- Base salary: $105,000 to $145,000 annually.
- Eligible for bonus, equity, and benefits.
