Responsibilities
- Manage global AP and T&E operations, including vendor management, invoice processing, payment execution, and employee reimbursements across U.S. and international entities.
- Manage corporate credit card programs.
- Manage vendor relations, serving as the primary escalation point for internal and external inquiries.
- Manage month-end AP close process, reconcile discrepancies, and provide resolutions to ensure completeness and accuracy of AP balances across all entities.
- Partner with the Accounting team on vendor accruals and perform flux analysis for assigned accounts at month-end and quarter-end.
- Supervise and mentor the AP team, acting as a hands-on team leader and backup when needed.
- Assist with implementing and adopting new systems and processes, ensuring compliance with internal policies and controls.
- Manage U.S. 1099 Reporting and partner with external accounting providers for jurisdictional compliance matters.
- Maintain audit-ready AP documentation, supporting external auditors with AP-related requests, and contribute to strong adherence of internal controls.
- Assist with vendor payments forecasting for cash flow management.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Accounting, FP&A, and Procurement to resolve issues and improve end-to-end process through an AI-first lens.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related fields.
- Minimum 7 years of progressive experience in Accounts Payable, including at least 2 years in a people manager role.
- Experience with multi-entity, multi-currency AP operations.
- NetSuite or other ERP experience required.
- Process-minded and curious, with experience leveraging AI and AP automation tools to improve accuracy and efficiency.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage competing priorities under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Strong analytical, problem solving, and strategic thinking skills.
- Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and highly organized.
