Responsibilities
- Own features from concept through production, including specification, requirements refinement, implementation, review, and delivery.
- Orchestrate AI agents to generate specifications, code, tests, reviews, and other development artifacts while validating all outputs.
- Participate in security-focused code reviews for human- and AI-generated code.
- Create coding harnesses and test frameworks for structured AI-assisted development.
- Maintain and evolve the .NET Core codebase for performance, scalability, and quality.
- Author AI context files documenting architecture, coding standards, constraints, and forbidden patterns.
- Help establish AI-native engineering practices, playbooks, context-file standards, and review norms.
Requirements
- Demonstrated hands-on experience using AI agents as core engineering tools, supported by work history or a portfolio.
- Strong .NET and C# proficiency, including SOLID principles, design patterns, and software engineering best practices.
- At least 5 years of experience developing scalable solutions.
- Familiarity with relational and document databases and modern CI/CD systems.
- Proficiency in unit testing with xUnit or an equivalent framework.
- Strong learning mindset and interest in evolving AI coding tools and workflows.
Nice to Have
- Asynchronous .NET programming, including async/await and TPL.
- Docker, Kubernetes, and AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Security review of AI-generated code, including injection risks, insecure defaults, input validation, and privilege escalation.
- Experience authoring AI context files such as CLAUDE.md or .cursorrules.
- Experience running AI agents in CI/CD pipelines.
- Personal programming or AI-assisted projects.
