Responsibilities

  • Write clear and concise copy across multiple product touchpoints.
  • Define and drive the UX Writing function within Global Markets, establishing workflows, partnerships, and standards for a newly forming team.
  • Review and mentor other UX writers.
  • Drive UX Writing strategy and deliverables across multiple complex projects.
  • Develop strategic ideas based on product requirements, data, and research.
  • Determine which language and design patterns best serve the user experience.
  • Present content and design work to design directors, executives, and project stakeholders.
  • Build consensus with stakeholders and partners on content recommendations.
  • Manage copy deadlines and deliver detailed copy across multiple projects.
  • Collaborate with accessibility, anti-discrimination, legal, localization, and country-management partners.
  • Partner with the central UX Writing team to align Global Markets work with shared standards, voice, and quality.

Requirements

  • 12+ years of experience in UX writing, content design, or content strategy.
  • Experience leading content and copy work from concept through detailed design.
  • Experience with localization platforms and/or translation services.
  • Experience working with and presenting to executive teams.
  • Experience creating content principles, messaging frameworks, and style guides.
  • Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams throughout design and development.
  • Strong understanding of user experience design principles and interaction patterns.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment.
  • Comfortable collaborating with other design disciplines in Figma.
  • Passion for a global, inclusive product mission.

Nice-to-haves

  • Background in a global consumer technology company or marketplace.
  • Bilingual proficiency in German, Spanish, French, or Italian.

Compensation and Benefits

  • United Kingdom annual base pay range: £126,000–£158,000 GBP.
  • May be eligible for bonus, equity, benefits, and Employee Travel Credits.
