The Technical Copywriter creates accurate, developer-focused content including comparison pages, migration guides, explainers, integrations, and case studies. The role requires 2–5 years of technical content experience, strong editorial judgment, and enough fluency to read code and understand APIs.

Responsibilities
- Turn marketing priorities, hypotheses, and briefs into published technical content from draft through technical review and publication.
- Write comparison, migration, and integration pages that help developers understand product fit and adoption.
- Interview engineers, read documentation and code, and create technically credible explainers.
- Produce customer case studies, including interviews, narrative development, approvals, and publication.
- Edit specialist freelance work for accuracy, structure, tone, and usefulness.
- Work within an experiment loop using defined hypotheses, target metrics, review dates, consistent structure, and instrumentation.
- Build predictable technical review processes with Engineering and Marketing.
- Track publishing cadence, technical accuracy, turnaround time, and throughput.
Requirements
- 2–5 years of experience writing technical content for developers, infrastructure products, developer tools, APIs, or similar technical audiences.
- Portfolio demonstrating clear, accurate writing about complex technical products.
- Technical fluency sufficient to read code, interview engineers, understand APIs and developer workflows, and identify errors.
- Strong editorial judgment and ability to turn imperfect briefs or technical conversations into useful content without inventing claims.
- Ability to manage multiple pieces at different stages and publish consistently.
- Comfort with feedback, measurement, and performance-based iteration.
- Excellent written communication and attention to detail.
- Ability to work from the San Francisco office or remotely with strong team overlap.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience writing about AI agents, model infrastructure, sandboxes, cloud infrastructure, open-source software, or usage-based SaaS.
- Experience with developer documentation, APIs, SDKs, command-line tools, or code samples.
- Experience managing freelance writers or editing technical work from subject-matter experts.
- Experience with SEO, answer-engine optimization, content experimentation, or conversion-focused technical pages.
- Familiarity with agent frameworks, model providers, sandboxes, and developer infrastructure.
- Experience producing customer stories from technical interviews and managing external approval cycles.
Compensation and Benefits
- Salary range: $150,000–$200,000.
