Senior IT Engineer, IAM & Platform Management
Own identity and access management and Atlassian platform administration at organizational scale, with responsibility for Okta configuration, entitlement governance, automation, and Jira/Confluence architecture. The role requires 5+ years of IT or systems administration experience and strong security, documentation, and automation skills.

Responsibilities
- Own Okta identity and access management, including SSO, MFA policies, lifecycle workflows, entitlement governance, access reviews, and contractor/non-employee access.
- Build and maintain automated provisioning, deprovisioning, and access-review workflows using Okta Workflows or adjacent automation tools.
- Administer Jira projects, workflows, permission schemes, automation rules, Confluence spaces and permissions, and Bitbucket access where applicable.
- Evaluate tooling and integrations, design scalable identity and platform architecture, and maintain documentation for audits, onboarding, and incident response.
- Partner with Information Security and IT Operations on identity risk, audit evidence, remediation, prioritization, and escalations.
- Drive recurring manual administration toward automation or self-service and improve access-request and approval workflows.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in IT engineering or systems administration, focused on identity and access management and/or SaaS platform administration.
- Hands-on production administration of Okta, including SSO, MFA, and lifecycle automation.
- Organizational-scale administration of Jira and Confluence, including workflow and permission design.
- Working knowledge of SAML, SSO, and access governance.
- Familiarity with scripting, automation tooling, and API/webhook integrations.
- Strong documentation habits and ability to work independently on platform architecture decisions.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience remediating identity security incidents or entitlement misconfigurations.
- Experience with JumpCloud, Google Workspace administration, or AWS IAM.
- Experience designing access reviews or automated deprovisioning programs.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent experience.
- Okta Certified Administrator, Atlassian, or equivalent certifications.
