Designs, builds, tests, and supports Workday HCM integrations with payroll, benefits, and vendor systems. Requires 6+ years of software development experience, deep Workday integration expertise, and proficiency in XML/XSLT and related integration technologies.

Responsibilities
- Serve as the technical point of contact for Workday integration projects, including solution design, technical documentation, implementation, testing, and production support.
- Design, build, test, monitor, and maintain internal and external Workday integrations.
- Integrate Workday HCM with third-party global payroll and benefits providers and other internal or vendor systems.
- Develop and support Workday custom reports, dashboards, calculated fields, BIRT reports, EIBs, Core Connectors, RaaS, Web Services, and Workday Studio integrations.
- Configure Workday business processes and configurable security.
- Apply XML, XSD, and XSLT transformations and work with SOAP- and REST-based web services.
- Create system design documentation and collaborate with People teams, functional business owners, and connected engineering teams.
- Support reliable, fault-tolerant integrations at scale.
Requirements
- 6+ years of software development experience.
- 4+ years developing Workday inbound and outbound integrations.
- 4+ years developing Workday custom reports, dashboards, and calculated fields.
- 4+ years developing Workday EIBs, Core Connectors, RaaS, and Web Services.
- 4+ years of experience with Workday Studio.
- 4+ years developing XML, XSD, and XSLT transformations.
- 2+ years of experience with Workday OX.
- Proficiency with Workday HCM and experience with Benefits, Compensation, and Talent Management modules.
- Experience with Workday business process configuration and configurable security.
- Experience monitoring and maintaining interfaces between Workday and internal or external vendor systems.
- Experience with security for integrations, including X509, PGP, and SSH.
- At least 1 year of Agile methodology experience.
- At least 1 year of Java development experience.
- Strong communication, organization, prioritization, and documentation skills.
Nice-to-haves
- Current or previous Workday Integration Certification.
- Experience with Workday Prism or Adaptive Insights.
- Experience with Java, MVEL, Node.js, Python, Linux, AWS, Dell Boomi, MySQL, PostgreSQL, Kafka, and BIRT development.
- Experience with public APIs.
