Associate Software Engineer - Java

Responsibilities

  • Own the full on-premises product lifecycle, including investigation, implementation, building, and customer delivery.
  • Support and maintain project stability and security.
  • Update dependencies and implement new standards and protocols.
  • Continuously improve software reliability.
  • Support on-premises customers migrating to the cloud-based platform.
  • Improve and automate development processes.
  • Mentor and support teammates.
  • Help define an inclusive engineering culture.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
  • 1–3 years of hands-on software engineering experience.
  • Hands-on experience with Java, Spring, and Hibernate.
  • Understanding of enterprise security, compliance, scalability, and data consistency challenges.
  • Strong programming, troubleshooting, and issue-resolution skills.
  • Experience with microservices-based distributed systems.
  • Understanding of complex data structures and algorithms in data management.
  • Analytical mindset and curiosity about how systems work.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with AI-powered IDEs and code-generation tools.
  • Experience managing Windows and Linux operating systems, including standard tools, commands, services, permissions, debugging, profiling, and application and system logs.
