Member of Client Operations, Settlements
This role executes and reconciles institutional digital-asset and fiat settlements, supports client account operations, and improves controls and workflows. Candidates need at least two years of operations, settlements, reconciliation, or post-trade experience, with strong attention to detail and risk-aware communication.

Responsibilities
- Execute end-to-end settlement operations for institutional clients, including receiving, verifying, and processing requests accurately and on time.
- Reconcile activity across internal systems and external venues, including banking portals, custodians, and exchanges; use blockchain explorers to validate on-chain transactions.
- Maintain documentation and controls for repeatable settlement workflows; contribute to runbooks and knowledge sharing.
- Develop understanding of the crypto industry, tokens, protocols, and applications such as staking and governance.
- Navigate and learn operational systems and tools such as Salesforce, JIRA, and Looker.
- Partner cross-functionally with Trading, Client Operations, Risk, Compliance, Product, and Engineering to improve tools, reduce manual steps, and strengthen controls.
- Manage settlement transactions across digital assets, tokenized assets, and fiat currencies under strict time constraints.
- Prioritize competing demands, resolve discrepancies, and escalate appropriately to protect clients and the firm.
- Contribute to process improvements and projects that increase throughput, resiliency, and auditability.
- Stay current with evolving crypto market structure, operational best practices, and regulatory and compliance requirements.
- Build fluency in products, systems, and downstream dependencies to anticipate impacts of process changes.
- Document processes and cross-train teammates to avoid single points of failure.
- Communicate clearly and calmly during incidents, escalations, and high-pressure settlement windows.
- Build relationships with internal partners and external counterparties; align on timelines, next steps, and required inputs.
- Contribute to status updates, post-mortems, and playbooks.
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in operations, settlements, reconciliations, or post-trade support, ideally in digital assets, fintech, or traditional finance.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple time-sensitive workflows concurrently.
- Experience reconciling transactions and balances across systems, investigating breaks, and documenting findings.
- Familiarity with blockchain concepts and blockchain explorers, or strong willingness to learn quickly.
- Clear communication skills, ownership, and a practical, risk-aware mindset.

- Experience supporting institutional clients or working with exchanges, banks, custodians, or other counterparties.
- Experience with operational tooling, reporting, or automation, including SQL, Python, Looker, or Retool.
- Exposure to AML/compliance workflows or regulated financial environments.
