What You'll Own
- Design execution across Harvey's activations vertical, including events, brand campaigns, partnerships, product launches, and other strategic brand initiatives.
- Translating creative direction into compelling visual work across multiple projects simultaneously.
- Creative feedback and design quality across the team, helping raise the standard of work through thoughtful reviews and mentorship.
- Management, coaching, and development of Harvey's design team, including workload planning, career growth, and performance.
- Design consistency and operational excellence across a growing volume of high-impact creative work.
What You'll Do
- Partner closely with Harvey's Creative Director to bring creative concepts to life through exceptional design.
- Set the visual direction for projects from early concepts through final execution, ensuring work meets a high standard of craft.
- Lead and develop a team of designers through regular feedback, coaching, and creative direction.
- Stay hands-on with design work when appropriate, balancing management responsibilities with individual contribution.
- Partner closely with Creative Operations, Copy, Motion, and Marketing to deliver cohesive, high-quality creative work.
- Drive design across Harvey's flagship events, campaigns, partnership launches, product launches, and other high-visibility initiatives.
- Push work beyond the brief, helping uncover creative ideas that make campaigns memorable rather than simply well executed.
- Establish effective design workflows and review processes that help the team move quickly without sacrificing quality.
- Foster a culture of craft, collaboration, and continuous improvement across the design team.
What You Have
- 8+ years of experience in brand or creative design, including experience managing or mentoring designers.
- A portfolio demonstrating exceptional visual craft and strong conceptual thinking across campaigns, brand work, events, or product marketing.
- Experience leading design for high-visibility initiatives, including launches, activations, or integrated campaigns.
- Strong creative judgment and the ability to provide clear, actionable feedback that improves both the work and the people creating it.
- Experience balancing multiple complex projects while maintaining a consistently high bar for quality.
- Comfort moving between leadership, creative direction, and hands-on execution depending on the needs of the project.
