Brand Marketing Lead
Leads category creation and brand positioning for Gigs, shaping the company narrative across customers, media, partners, founders, and international markets. The role requires exceptional writing, executive communications experience, multi-channel distribution expertise, and experience in a high-growth technology environment.

Responsibilities
- Define Gigs’ category, positioning, terminology, and narrative as the business expands beyond “embedded connectivity.”
- Position Gigs within the category across customers, press, analysts, investors, partners, and other audiences.
- Partner with founders and executives to ghostwrite and co-create essays, keynotes, podcasts, social content, interviews, and other thought leadership.
- Own the external marketing calendar across conferences, stages, podcasts, newsletters, and press.
- Adapt brand narratives for markets across the United States, Europe, and Asia.
- Partner with Design to maintain a sharp, consistent brand across the website, decks, stages, social, and events.
- Coordinate messaging across Growth Marketing, Product, Partner Marketing, and partners.
- Set briefs and evaluate performance marketing, events, AI-driven marketing, and internal communications work; direct specialists and agencies as appropriate.
- Use AI tools to improve marketing speed, creativity, decision-making, and representation across emerging AI-driven channels.
Requirements
- Proven experience creating and establishing a new category for a company.
- Experience positioning a company within a category and driving adoption of its narrative.
- Experience working directly with founders or executives, including ghostwriting and developing public voices.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with a strong content strategy background.
- Experience building content and distribution engines that measurably grow brand awareness.
- Experience adapting brand narratives across regions and markets.
- Ability to direct content, social, events, communications, and design work, including setting briefs and evaluating output.
- Daily use of AI tools to improve speed, creativity, and decision-making.
- Experience in a high-growth technology startup or agency environment.

- Experience with international go-to-market narratives across the United States, Europe, and Asia.
Compensation and Benefits
- Salary range: $180,000–$240,000 annually, plus equity.
