Total Rewards Manager
Owns Bestow’s total rewards function across compensation, equity, benefits, benchmarking, and compensation cycles. The role requires 5–8+ years of experience, strong analytical skills, hands-on Pave or similar platform expertise, and close partnership with Finance, Legal, and leadership.

Responsibilities
- Own Pave configuration, including market benchmarking, geographic tiers, compensation cycle setup, and data integrity between BambooHR and Pave.
- Assess and improve compensation and benefits philosophy, market positioning, and rewards tooling.
- Maintain salary bands and investigate job-family outliers.
- Partner on job leveling and standardize the leveling process.
- Own biannual merit, promotion, and bonus cycles, partnering with Finance on budgets and approvals.
- Administer equity databases and manage equity benchmarking, analytics, refresh cycles, and promotion equity cycles.
- Evaluate geographic pay ranges for a distributed workforce.
- Own benefits strategy, renewals, plan design, and new offerings in partnership with the broker.
Requirements
- 5–8+ years of experience in compensation, total rewards, or a related HR discipline.
- Direct equity administration experience at a venture-backed or newly public company.
- Experience with Pave, Radford, or a similar compensation benchmarking and planning platform.
- Experience running end-to-end merit and compensation cycles.
- Experience managing equity programs, including grant sizing, equity analysis, refresh and retention programs, cap table tools, and board or compensation committee materials.
- Benefits strategy experience, including renewals, broker management, and plan design.
- Advanced Excel and analytical skills.
- Ability to build and defend compensation models from first principles.
- Strong cross-functional partnership and communication skills.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience building a Total Rewards function from scratch at a company with approximately 100–250 employees.
- Job architecture or leveling framework design experience.
- Insurance, fintech, or other regulated-industry experience.
- Experience with Carta or similar cap table tools.

- Salary of $135,000–$155,000 plus equity.
