Immigration Program Manager
Manages global immigration cases, compliance, relocations, vendors, and employee support for a growing technology company. Requires 5+ years of multinational immigration experience and strong expertise in U.S. employment-based visa programs.

Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary contact for employees and stakeholders regarding immigration inquiries, visa assessments, case status, and strategy.
- Manage a high-volume immigration case portfolio, including PERM, I-140, adjustment of status, and ILR processes across the United States, EMEA, JAPAC, and LATAM.
- Coordinate with outside immigration counsel on petition preparation, timelines, RFE responses, audits, and compliance matters.
- Track and proactively manage work authorization expirations, renewals, and escalations.
- Assess immigration sponsorship feasibility for new hires and internal transfers with People Partners and Talent Acquisition.
- Develop immigration resources, FAQs, playbooks, compliance documentation, and stakeholder training.
- Monitor regulatory changes and manage reporting, trackers, dashboards, and I-9 compliance escalations.
- Coordinate international relocations and support global mobility, People M&A, and international expansion initiatives.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience managing immigration programs for EMEA, APAC, and AMER at a global technology company or employment-based immigration law firm.
- Deep expertise in U.S. nonimmigrant and immigrant visa categories, including H-1B, L-1, O-1, TN, OPT, PERM, EB-1, EB-2, adjustment of status, and EADs.
- Experience managing multiple vendors and complex immigration matters, including international relocations or assignments.
- Experience with People Operations compliance projects.
- Strong project management, organization, prioritization, and written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to translate complex legal concepts into clear communication.
Nice to Have
- Experience supporting immigration needs related to M&A.
- Expertise in Singapore immigration and the COMPASS framework.
- Knowledge of international assignment management, including assignment design, cost projections, tax equalization, and assignee lifecycle support.
- Familiarity with cross-border tax concepts, including hypothetical tax, shadow payroll, equity income sourcing, RSUs, and stock options.
- Experience managing business traveler compliance programs, short-term assignment tracking, and permanent establishment risk identification.
Compensation and Benefits
- Annual base salary: $127,000–$269,000 USD.
