Senior KYC Investigator - Ongoing Due Diligence
The Senior KYC Investigator will strengthen ongoing due diligence controls, improve KYC workflows, support complex refresh cases, and partner across Compliance, Product, and Risk teams to increase efficiency and reduce customer friction. The role requires at least 3–5 years in KYC, AML, sanctions, or risk investigations.

Responsibilities
- Lead development and implementation of operational processes and comprehensive procedures for business process outsourcing (BPO) execution.
- Partner with Compliance, BSA, Product, Risk Strategy, and other cross-functional teams to enhance the ongoing due diligence program and improve operational efficiency through data and technology.
- Refine and standardize desktop procedures for KYC workflows to improve efficiency, accuracy, and regulatory compliance.
- Support complex KYC refresh and related workflow cases.
- Identify opportunities to reduce unnecessary case volume by proposing auto-clearing logic.
- Maintain and enhance metric dashboards tracking control performance, remediation status, and operational effectiveness.
Requirements
- 3–5 years of experience in KYC, risk investigations, AML, or sanctions.
- 2+ years of experience building programs or processes.
- Experience working in high-risk environments with minimal supervision.
- Strong understanding of financial services or other highly regulated environments.
- Experience managing customer-facing queues, handling high caseloads, and/or managing customer escalations.
- Experience with KYC verification software such as Alloy, MidDesk, or Socure.
- Strong problem-solving skills and an interest in improving teams, products, and processes.
- Curiosity about the US banking system, startups, and ecommerce companies.
Compensation
- US employees in New York City, Los Angeles, Seattle, or the San Francisco Bay Area: $106,200–$132,800 USD base salary.
- US employees outside New York City, Los Angeles, Seattle, or the San Francisco Bay Area: $95,600–$119,500 USD base salary.
- Canadian employees, any location: $100,400–$125,500 CAD base salary.
- Total rewards include base salary, equity, and benefits.
