Responsibilities

  • Ship product features end-to-end across the technology stack.
  • Set up reusable building blocks and create leverage through automation and abstraction.
  • Own a large portion of a product and lead projects from research through implementation.
  • Research competitors, write product specifications, make product and design decisions, create wireframes, and prototype ideas.
  • Talk to customers, understand requirements, observe product usage, and determine future iterations.
  • Build frontend features and choose or establish infrastructure as needed.
  • Create powerful abstractions and flexible systems for ambiguous, complex product challenges.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders and engineers to deliver projects.
  • Develop tools, lint rules, and other systems that prevent common issues and help Support debug problems.

Requirements

  • Comfortable tackling any part of the technology stack, including frontend and infrastructure.
  • Experience with projects involving substantial product and technical ambiguity.
  • Ability to balance speed, quality, and urgency in a startup environment.
  • Ambitious, adaptable, and open to frequent feedback.
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently while keeping stakeholders informed and validating decisions.
  • Strong focus on automation, abstraction, and creating leverage.

Compensation

  • Annual salary: $256,000–$380,000 CAD
