What You Will Do
Lead the design and development of features spanning the entire stack, from React-based frontend applications to backend services, APIs, and data layers.
Work closely with Product, UX, and Engineering teams to understand user needs, make sound technical decisions, and deliver high-quality software.
Own features end-to-end, building intuitive frontend experiences as well as backend services, databases, and distributed systems.
Mentor and guide other engineers, raising the quality bar through code review, pairing, and technical leadership.
Bring fresh technologies and approaches to the team, including thoughtful use of AI to accelerate development outcomes.

Requirements
Bachelor's or Master's degree (or equivalent experience) in computer science, software engineering, or related field.
Substantial professional experience: 6+ years for Staff, 10+ years for Principal, with record of designing, building, and evolving complex software systems.
Strong understanding of software design principles, patterns, and best practices.
Expertise in one or more backend JVM languages (Java, Kotlin, or Scala).
Experience working with databases such as Postgres.
Expertise in building large frontend applications with React or TypeScript (preferred).
Ability to work effectively across frontend and backend codebases, owning features end-to-end.
Excellent problem-solving, analytical skills, and attention to detail.
Proven leadership skills to guide and mentor junior engineers.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills in a cross-functional team.
Familiarity with agile methodologies (Scrum or Kanban).
