Responsibilities
- Participate in all phases of mergers and acquisitions (M&A), from ideation through execution.
- Partner with the M&A team and R&D/GTM leaders to evaluate opportunities.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to execute deals and with the M&A integration team to support post-close success.
- Drive deal execution end-to-end, including financial and strategic analysis, negotiation support, and leadership of internal deal teams.
- Lead or support partnership initiatives and other strategy projects as needed.
Requirements
- 7+ years of professional or military experience, including investment banking or investing and corporate development at high-growth B2B technology companies.
- Strong M&A sourcing, evaluation, and execution experience.
- Technical aptitude and product fluency, including familiarity with Internet infrastructure markets such as AI, cybersecurity, infrastructure, developer tools, and B2B SaaS.
- Experience leading or playing a key role in end-to-end M&A processes, from sourcing and strategic evaluation through closing.
- Ability to drive cross-functional initiatives end-to-end with limited oversight.
- Intellectual curiosity, analytical problem-solving ability, and comfort navigating ambiguous technical and business challenges.
Compensation
- San Francisco Bay Area: estimated annual salary of $177,000–$243,000.
- New York City: estimated annual salary of $169,000–$232,000.
- Eligible to participate in the equity plan.
