Senior Manager, Product Marketing
Leads product marketing for a local marketplace, combining lifecycle and growth campaigns with positioning, launches, experimentation, and data-driven marketplace demand generation. The role manages a marketing team while remaining hands-on with SQL, AI tooling, and cross-functional execution.

Responsibilities
- Turn marketplace supply and demand signals into scalable marketing campaigns.
- Drive consumer lifecycle and engagement marketing across push, email, and in-app channels for buyer and seller activation, engagement, and reactivation.
- Identify opportunities to grow marketplace supply and demand.
- Build repeatable playbooks and a rolling demand calendar with Engineering and Data Science.
- Design and analyze experiments using Statsig, including A/B, geo-based, and holdout tests.
- Measure incremental transactions, GMV, listings, activation, engagement, and reactivation.
- Own positioning, messaging, and go-to-market launches for product surfaces and marketplace moments.
- Brief creative, lifecycle, paid, and communications partners with insight-led messaging.
- Use AI tooling and SQL for analysis, campaign operations, and productivity.
- Manage, mentor, and develop a high-performing product marketing team.
- Lead through influence and align cross-functional partners.
Requirements
- 8+ years spanning product marketing, lifecycle or engagement marketing, or growth marketing in consumer technology.
- Experience managing, mentoring, and scaling marketing teams.
- Depth in push, email, and in-app lifecycle programs, with measurable engagement and retention results.
- End-to-end positioning, messaging, and go-to-market launch experience.
- Growth marketing experience in fast-paced, event- and trend-driven environments.
- Working SQL and comfort with modern data warehouses; BigQuery preferred.
- Hands-on experience using LLM tools in production workflows.
- Experimentation literacy, including A/B, geo-based, and holdout testing.
- Excellent writing and communication skills.
- Ability to cultivate talent and foster ownership and collaboration.
- Experience leading through influence across complex organizations.
Nice-to-haves
- Marketplace or e-commerce experience, especially local or hyperlocal marketplaces.
- Experience with weather, live events, retail, ticketing, travel, resale, or CPG demand planning.
- Familiarity with Braze, Iterable, or similar CRM and lifecycle platforms.
- Geo-based or matched-market measurement experience.
- Prompt engineering, light scripting, or forecasting experience.
- Experience partnering with Data Science.
Compensation and Benefits
- Compensation: $210,000 - $230,000 annually.
