Senior Solutions Architect
Leads regional strategy and technical execution for complex enterprise data warehouse migrations to the Databricks Data Intelligence Platform. The role requires 8+ years in customer-facing architecture, consulting, or presales, deep EDW modernization expertise, cloud architecture skills, and strong experience with Spark, Python, and SQL.

Responsibilities
- Collaborate with EMEA GTM leadership and account teams to design and drive technical go-to-market and adoption strategies for large-scale enterprise data warehouse migrations to the Databricks Data Intelligence Platform.
- Architect and refine programmatic assets and technical guides that enable field teams and partners to execute migrations.
- Maintain, enhance, and direct the development of automated assessment tools based on customer engagements.
- Serve as the tier-3 technical escalation point for complex, strategic, or stalled migrations in mission-critical accounts across EMEA.
- Mentor and coach the EMEA Solutions Architect and Specialist Solutions Architect community.
- Provide technical feedback to Product Management and Engineering.
- Author whitepapers, publish technical blogs, and deliver presentations at public forums.
- Collaborate with Professional Services and Global Systems Integrators to standardize migration delivery methodologies and ensure smooth handoffs.
Requirements
- 8+ years of customer-facing experience in pre-sales, architecture, or consulting roles.
- Experience influencing technical executives, including CIOs, CISOs, DBAs, and platform leads.
- Strong understanding of legacy enterprise data warehouse systems and modernization architectures, including Teradata, Netezza, Snowflake, Synapse, Redshift, or Exadata.
- Expertise in migration scope and progression from enterprise data warehouses to modern data platforms.
- Hands-on experience with Lakehouse architecture, Apache Spark, Python, and SQL.
- Hands-on experience designing and implementing big data architectures in AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience with strategic enablement and community mentorship.
