Owns the roadmap and delivery of Forge’s financial data products, including pricing, indices, reference data, and distribution. Requires 5–8 years managing financial data products and the ability to align engineering, research, operations, and commercial stakeholders.

Responsibilities
- Own the roadmap, backlog, requirements, priorities, and success measures for one or more Forge data products.
- Define and deliver accurate, reliable, usable, and relevant data products.
- Own data distribution through APIs and file-based feeds, including production monitoring, alerting, service-level agreement performance, and issue-resolution coordination.
- Partner with engineering, data research, and data operations throughout discovery, development, launch, and iteration.
- Align stakeholders on priorities, dependencies, tradeoffs, risks, and outcomes.
- Gather input from clients and external partners and translate it into actionable product requirements.
Requirements
- 5–8 years of experience managing financial data products through a complete product life cycle.
- Understanding of how data is sourced, transformed, validated, distributed, and used.
- Ability to set standards for data accuracy, timeliness, and transparency.
- Ability to convert business and customer problems into clear requirements and delivered solutions.
- Ability to build trust and drive alignment across product, engineering, data, and commercial teams without direct authority.
- Understanding of financial market data products and institutional data users.
Success Measures
- Products meet defined accuracy, quality, reliability, and distribution SLA targets.
- Roadmaps deliver measurable customer and business value.
- Internal and relevant external stakeholders trust product direction and communication.
Scope and Impact
- Ownership of data product areas such as pricing, indices, derived data, reference data, and distribution.
- Coordination of cross-team initiatives involving engineering, data research, and data operations.
- Representation of Forge Data in internal planning forums and selected client or partner conversations.
Compensation
- New York, NY base salary: $170,000–$200,000 annually, plus annual bonus.
