Responsibilities
- Own the end-to-end product strategy and roadmap for Premium, Standard, and Partner EOR and Standard Global Payroll.
- Balance country expansion, product depth, operational scalability, reliability, and financial risk.
- Define country and SKU launch readiness across hiring, onboarding, payroll, funding, compliance, support, and go-to-market.
- Build global payroll controls and visibility, including payroll preview and editing, approvals, pay schedules, time-and-attendance inputs, multi-region support, currency flexibility, exports, and reconciliation.
- Improve EOR employee and administrator experiences, including work patterns, hourly and overnight shifts, contract requirements, and country-specific hiring rules.
- Build controls for underwriting, deposits and collateral, hiring restrictions, liability visibility, partner-invoice auditing, reconciliation, and expense compliance.
- Reduce operational effort and payroll cycle time through onboarding, reporting, exception management, cross-client tooling, partner experiences, automation, and AI.
- Own outcomes for payroll accuracy, reliability, API performance, data integrity, and auditability.
- Define a scorecard covering adoption, revenue, launch readiness, payroll accuracy, review time, operational interventions, reconciliation, financial loss, and system performance.
- Lead planning and execution across multiple product and engineering pods.
- Research global employers, employees, internal operators, and partners using product data and direct customer engagement.
- Communicate strategy, decisions, progress, and risks to senior leaders and cross-functional stakeholders.
Requirements
- 8+ years of product management experience, including ownership of technically complex, high-stakes products at scale.
- Experience in payroll, global employment, fintech, HR systems, compliance, or another regulated operational domain.
- Strong product judgment and ability to prioritize breadth versus depth.
- Systems thinking across products, data models, workflows, APIs, operations, and third-party partners.
- Track record simplifying complex workflows while preserving correctness, compliance, and user trust.
- Strong analytical and commercial judgment, including metrics, market opportunities, adoption, revenue, cost, and risk.
- Technical fluency in architecture, integrations, data quality, reliability, and performance decisions.
- Cross-functional leadership across engineering, design, operations, legal, compliance, finance, sales, and support.
- Experience setting direction across multiple teams or PM-owned workstreams.
- AI fluency and judgment about safely improving customer and operational workflows.
- Bias toward action, ownership, intellectual honesty, and customer outcomes.
