Global Operations Specialist
Executes end-to-end container and air-freight shipment operations, resolves exceptions, coordinates delivery appointments, and supports continuous improvement. The role requires strong customer service, attention to detail, English fluency, and flexible shift availability.

Responsibilities
- Execute the movement of containers and air freight through availability at the destination port or warehouse.
- Ensure shipments move on time and exceptions are handled appropriately while maintaining Flexport's quality standards.
- Serve as the first point of escalation for issue resolution and provide prompt, effective resolutions to support customer experience.
- Use metrics to identify performance opportunities, including data quality and shipment milestone timeliness.
- Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to meet internal Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), Service-level Agreements (SLAs), and productivity goals.
- Analyze data to identify root causes of defects and support continuous improvement efforts.
- Coordinate shipment delivery appointments and complete reporting functions supporting client business needs.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or associate's degree, or 1+ year of relevant experience preferred.
- Strong customer service skills, including empathy, prioritization, troubleshooting, and de-escalation of challenging issues.
- Fluency in written and verbal English.
- Strong attention to detail in a high-energy, fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including national holidays, weekends, swing or night shifts, and overtime as business needs require.
