What You'll Do

  • Scale the engineering organization from 40 to 80+ people while protecting velocity, code quality, and culture.
  • Own operations and people leadership (two-thirds of time) and hands-on technical work (one-third).
  • Design lightweight planning cadence, sprint structure, decision-making processes, and documentation.
  • Build technical leadership, weekly coordination rhythms, and clear growth paths.
  • Eliminate top operational bottlenecks (e.g., prioritization, dependencies, code review, meetings, context switching) within 6 months.
  • Own delivery on major cross-team initiatives, track progress, manage dependencies.
  • Maintain technical credibility via code review, architecture decisions, mentoring.
  • Partner on technical strategy and architecture reviews.
  • Establish scalable culture with skip-level 1:1s, monthly retrospectives, feedback loops.
