About the role

Responsibilities

  • Build product-led growth (PLG) business with entrepreneurial mindset
  • Act as trusted advisor for prospects, customers, partners; monitor and answer questions on Illumiverse community
  • Create compelling content: getting started guides, videos, white papers, presentations, demos
  • Solve trial experience problems with product management and engineering; continually improve trials and marketplace experiences (Microsoft Marketplace, AWS Marketplace)
  • Conduct technical troubleshooting for web trials and marketplace offerings
  • Perform competitive analysis of PLG cybersecurity solutions
  • Develop messaging, product demos, presentations, sales training
  • Test and troubleshoot trial and marketplace experiences
  • Develop and conduct PLG-oriented technical field training for sales teams and customers
  • Present to prospects, customers, sales, and partners with technical credibility

Requirements

  • 5+ years in prospect/customer-facing roles selling security products/solutions
  • 2+ years as sales engineer, professional services consultant, or technical support
  • Fluency in security technologies: cloud (AWS, Azure, GCP) plus 2+ of Network Security, Firewalls, Segmentation, SDN, Threat detection, End-point Security, Audit/Compliance, Containers, Public cloud security
  • Hands-on subject matter expertise
  • Proven ability to distill complex tech into simple messaging
  • Good understanding of data center security competitive landscape
  • Ability to present technical concepts to all levels including C-level
  • Self-starter, able to work with minimal direction in fast-paced environment
  • Willing to travel up to 10%
