About the role

Responsibilities

  • Build and create with JavaScript across the platform, including reliable backend in Node and delightful user experiences in React.
  • Build and scale core API to handle millions of requests per day.
  • Investigate and debug issues using monitoring & logging tools and create action items to resolve them.
  • Maintain high technical bar through code reviews and interviewing new team members.
  • Collaborate with team to define roadmap by understanding customers’ needs.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of full-time software engineering experience, ideally full-stack.
  • Expert knowledge in JS, Python, Java or equivalent languages.
  • Experience building scalable production-level applications.
  • Ability to clearly communicate concepts/ideas behind solutions and break big solutions into smaller tasks.
  • Balance between moving fast and getting things right.
  • Natural curiosity for new technologies and Fintech trends.

Nice-to-Haves

  • Experience in Finance / FinTech.
  • Experience building data pipelines.
  • Knowledge of payment rails such as ACH, RTP, etc.
  • DevOps experience with AWS, Cloudflare, and CI/CD tools.

Compensation

Annual US base salary range: $190,000-$235,000.
