Senior Product Marketing Manager, Release Marketing
The Senior Product Marketing Manager, Release Marketing will build and scale the release marketing engine, operationalizing a monthly "What's New" cadence and driving AI-first marketing operations. This role requires a systems thinker with strong operational skills and cross-functional collaboration.
What You’ll Do
Build and Scale the Release Marketing Engine
- Design and own a scalable, repeatable release marketing system that turns product updates into customer-facing and internal deliverables
- Operationalize a monthly “What’s New” cadence, including blogs, customer communications, sales enablement, in-product messaging (e.g., Pendo), and social content
- Partner with Product to standardize release inputs (e.g., templates, briefs) that feed into automated workflows
- Continuously improve quality, speed, and consistency of releases through automation and AI
Drive AI-First Marketing Operations
- Identify opportunities to automate repetitive product marketing workflows using AI and tooling
- Build and maintain systems that generate, QA, and distribute release content at scale
- Establish best practices for how product marketing leverages AI across content creation, organization, and execution
Support on Horizontal Product Marketing Operations
- Partner with the VP of Product Marketing on cross-functional initiatives that improve how product marketing works across teams
- Bring structure to planning processes, ensuring projects, timelines, and OKRs are clearly defined and consistently tracked
- Create and maintain centralized systems for knowledge management (e.g., drives, folders, documentation) that are clean, current, and usable
- Act as a connective layer across product marketing, ensuring alignment and consistency in messaging and execution

Qualifications:
- Minimum of 7 years of product marketing or GTM experience, with demonstrated ownership of end-to-end GTM execution
- Experience architecting GTM or release marketing infrastructure from scratch, including governance models, tooling stacks, and scalable content workflows
- Hands-on practitioner of AI tools and automation (e.g., ChatGPT, Claude, Notion AI, Zapier, Make, or similar) applied to content workflows
- Demonstrated ability to influence and drive alignment across Product, Marketing, and GTM leadership without direct authority
- Strong writing and messaging skills. Ability to translate technical product updates into clear, customer-facing narratives
- Track record of driving adoption and internal alignment through structured release communications
- Experience with in-product messaging tools (e.g., Pendo, Appcues) and marketing automation platforms
- Comfortable working in ambiguous, high-volume environments with competing priorities
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in payroll, HR tech, or compliance-adjacent products where regulatory nuance shapes messaging
- Prior experience in a high-growth, multi-product environment; HR tech, fintech, or SMB-focused SaaS
- Experience in a Strategy & Ops function to create new processes and infrastructure
The base wage range for this position based in our New York City Office is targeted at $147,000.00 - $190,000.00 per year.Actual compensation is based on multiple factors that are unique to each candidate, including and not limited to skill set, level of relevant experience, and specific work location. Salary ranges for positions based in other locations may differ based on the cost of labor in that location.
