About the role

Responsibilities

  • Generate qualified sales demos and meetings
  • Direct outreach to inbound leads via email, LinkedIn, and calls with highly relevant and personalized messaging
  • Source opportunities with target accounts through cold emails and calls in collaboration with marketing and ABM campaigns
  • Participate in online conversations (e.g., LinkedIn) with interested people and target accounts
  • Conduct research on inbound and outbound target people and companies
  • Collaborate with sales team to advance target accounts
  • Develop deep understanding of product and target audiences
  • Enter, update, and maintain CRM information on leads throughout the funnel

Requirements

  • Experience in sales development or inside sales roles with consistent over-attainment of weekly/monthly targets
  • Highly self-motivated with focus on outbound prospecting, understanding pain points, and offering solutions
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with prospects and stakeholders
  • Solid understanding of outbound sales methodologies, prospecting techniques, and sales processes
  • Experience with CRM and sales enablement tools (e.g., HubSpot, 6Sense, ZoomInfo, Gong, Apollo, Outreach, Sales Navigator)

Nice-to-Haves

  • Prior experience selling commercial cloud services/products based on open source developer platforms
  • Comfortable speaking about workflows, microservices, containers, serverless
  • Strong ability to articulate and sell business value to businesses of all sizes

Compensation

  • OTE: $80,000 - $100,000 USD (factors include skills, experience, job scope, location, market data)
