About the role
Responsibilities
- Qualify new leads and drive pipeline within assigned territory
- Understand customers' business challenges and position Hex as the solution
- Partner with Account Executives and Sales Engineers to run discovery and demos
- Accelerate conversion to pipeline by sending targeted, personalized messages to prospects
- Schedule qualified meetings for Mid-Market + Enterprise Account Executives
- Work with Demand Generation on targeted campaigns
- Develop, test, and iterate on tactics
- Help improve the blueprint for scaling the SDR function
- Provide input to engineering, product management, and marketing
- Create and deliver accurate forecasts
Requirements
- Inbound/outbound SDR experience with a technical product (engineers or data end users)
- Excellent communication skills
- Conduct prospect research and outreach personalization
- Iterative mindset, comfortable experimenting and failing
- Passionate/curious about the data & analytics space
- Capable of managing a large pipeline of high-velocity opportunities
- Capable/willing to learn basic SQL
- Enthusiasm for working as part of a team and partnering with cross-functional peers
- Comfortable in a fast-paced, often ambiguous environment
