About the role

Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end pricing of complex reinsurance treaties, including assumption development, cash flow projection, and risk/return optimization
  • Develop, oversee, and enhance actuarial models, setting methodology standards and driving continuous improvement through dedicated project work
  • Translate complex analytical findings into clear recommendations for internal and external audiences
  • Serve as SME to support the creation and maintenance of appropriate pricing risk governance controls
  • Collaborate across reinsurance, data science, engineering, and security teams to shape data-driven solutions
  • Act as an ambassador for the actuarial team, fostering a solutions-driven approach and meeting stakeholder needs

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in Insurance pricing, with at least 4+ years in Reinsurance
  • ACAS or FCAS certification
  • Demonstrated ability to lead complex initiatives
  • Undergraduate degree in Actuarial Science or related field
  • Strong understanding of actuarial pricing and various reinsurance treaty structures
  • Excellent communication skills, including ability to convey clear information and explain complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and consistently meet deadlines
  • Ability to take ambiguous problems and solve them in a structured, data-driven way
  • Ability to think long-term strategically and operationally, balancing short-term deliveries with long-term business outcomes
  • Ability to influence partners and build strong relationships
  • Ability to develop, assess, and monitor business metrics to optimize pricing proposals

  • Pricing experience in Cyber (re)Insurance
