Influencer Marketing Manager

136k – 170kFoster City, CAHybrid6+ YOE
Summary

Replit is seeking an Influencer Marketing Manager to own their influencer and creator program end-to-end. This role involves defining strategy, building playbooks, recruiting creators, and collaborating cross-functionally to drive user acquisition and brand awareness.

About the role

What You'll Do

  • Own the influencer strategy end to end: Define Replit's influencer and creator program — tiers, categories, target audiences, platform prioritization, and campaign objectives
  • Build the full influencer playbook: sourcing criteria, outreach cadences, contract frameworks, content briefs, approval workflows, and evergreen vs. campaign-specific activation models
  • Recruit and manage a creator roster: identify, vet, and cultivate ongoing relationships with creators across YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, X, and emerging platforms — from nano to top-tier
  • Content collaboration: brief creators effectively, review content for accuracy and brand alignment, and build feedback loops that improve creator output over time
  • Cross-functional coordination: work across marketing, comms, product, sales, and legal to move fast while ensuring accuracy, timing, and risk control
  • Community and ecosystem relationships: identify rising voices, build relationships before you need them, and position Replit as the platform creators in the AI space want to be associated with

Required Skills & Experience

  • 6+ years of influencer or creator marketing experience at a high-growth B2C or beloved consumer tech company, with a clear track record of building programs that drove measurable business results
  • Existing relationships with creators, influencers, or community leaders in the AI, developer, or consumer tech space
  • Deep platform fluency across YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, X/Twitter, and LinkedIn — you understand what works organically on each and how creator content differs from brand content
  • Strong negotiation and partnership instincts: you've structured deals ranging from gifting to six-figure paid campaigns and know how to protect the brand while giving creators creative room
  • Elite creative judgment: you can write a compelling brief, spot a bad take before it goes live, and know when to let a creator go off-script
  • Comfort operating in ambiguity and moving fast — you don't need a 10-slide deck to start a relationship or launch a campaign
  • AI-native with genuine curiosity about agentic AI tools and hands-on experience using them to scale your workflow
  • Experience managing rapid response: you've dealt with creator issues or social media crises and know how to stay calm and strategic under pressure

Bonus Qualifications

  • Short-form video production experience or background working with video-first creators
  • A meaningful social media following of your own
  • An active Replit builder — you've shipped something with the product
  • Experience at a B2C tech startup: you know what it means to build with constraints and high stakes
  • Based in or able to relocate to the San Francisco Bay Area
